JOB TITLE: IT TECHNICIAN
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for maintaining computer systems, installing hardware and troubleshooting IT-related issues, providing technical support to employees, managing network infrastructure, and working with vendors to ensure IT systems are up to date. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of information technology, including hardware, software, and networking.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assisting staff with hardware and software challenges
· Monitor network performance and maintain network security
· Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
· Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues reported by users
· Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings
· Ensure the availability of network resources and services
· Install and configure network hardware, such as routers and switches
· Monitor system performance and security logs
· Train users on new hardware and software
· Research and recommend new IT technologies and solutions
· Prepare company for external CMMC audit
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
· At least 3 years of experience working in IT
· Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems
· Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
· Knowledge of Domain and Client/Server infrastructure
· Experience with network hardware, such as routers and switches
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
